This weekend I spontaneously attended a one-day mixed gender course called โHow to please a Womanโ at the Sexological Bodywork Centre in Zurich. Any course with a derivative of the word pleasure in it has me at hello, letโs face it! ๐
The session was full of courage, vulnerability, and loving, sexy, healing touch. Yummy stuff! ๐ And it is always refreshing to be in such open spaces where women are courageously voicing their struggles and desires and diving deeper into the juicy realm of sexuality. And, more fascinating still, is to witness how genuinely curious, open and willing to learn that the men are. ๐
Letโs face it, we yoni-owners are a very complex finely-tuned species when it comes to sexuality. So full kudos to the lingam-owners for your brave spirit of adventure! (Yoni and Lingam are the Tantric words for female & male genitalia respectively for those of you unfamiliar with the terms.) ๐บ
When I first started out as a Tantra guide, I thought that I would specialise primarily in working with women, and yet as I evolve it feels like my work is becoming very much mixed-gender based. What gives me joy is to guide warm, big-hearted souls into a greater felt-sense of joy, pleasure and aliveness, regardless of their gender. ๐
In fact, a wise and seasoned Tantric leader once told me that women tend to be drawn towards Tantra for healing and end up becoming more in touch with their empowered sensual sexual selves as a result.
Whereas men tend to get attracted to the sensual/sexual energy side and end up experiencing profound healing.
Yin and Yang are two sides of the same coin really and we all have both energies in us to one degree or another. But Iโll save that one for another newsletter!
