Mindful Sensuality
Our sexual experiences with ourselves and our partner/s often involve us defaulting to fast genital stimulation in order to make that orgasm happen asap! π₯π¦
And this goal-oriented approach means that we rush past so much of the good stuff! π«πββοΈ
This weekend during the first module of the Sexological Bodywork training, we were guided through a series of slow and mindful sensuality exercises which enabled me to feel orgasmic energy in a variety of unexpected places in my body. πΊπ
At one point the palms of my hands felt electric and the underside of my forearms tingled with ecstasy. During a self-empowerment massage I also discovered that placing a still finger on my clitoris and another still finger on my nipple could connect me to a divinely spiritual connection with my sexual energy. An absolutely incredible feeling! ππ«
Our sexuality starts to expand when we slow down and stay curious to the micro sensations in our body. When we shift the focus away from the end result and begin to appreciate every beautiful little step along the way. ππ±
One of the things I love most about my work as a Tantra guide is just that. That I get to help people to get out of doing and achieving mode and to slow down into their sensual and often emotional experience. Itβs joyful and touching work on so many levels. ππ
