A Feeler at Heart

I am a feeler.

A highly sensitive, deeply sensual and  intuitive woman with a wide open heart and a huge capacity to love wildly and fiercely 💓 

Throughout my life, this capacity to feel intensity and to receive and channel life force so fully has been quite some ride 🎢 

Some days have been thrilling and exhilarating. Others have been painful and hard. My daring and expressive heart has got me into all sorts of mischief and I’ve mourned my losses dramatically and viscerally. 

To be alive and touched by our experiences, also means to run the risk of being hurt or ridiculed. 

And I have to say, I would run that risk any day. 

My senses are the gateway to my pleasure 🍑 

My courageous vulnerability is the portal to connection 💞 

My ability to love big is what heals me and restores my sense of purpose every time ❤️ 

I am grateful for this blessing of being in an albeit aging menopausal female body. 

I’m thankful for my knowing curves and my authentic laughter lines.

I am more and more accepting of the countless human imperfections which make me me.

And this brings a sense of great renewal.

As Barack Obama said; “Underneath our skin we are all the same. We all bleed red.” 🩸
